eBay encourages all employees to experience eBay as a customer, and become advocates of the eBay marketplace. The Deutschland Index (DEX) invites staff to sign up as both individuals and within teams to compete in monthly challenges in order to become ‘top trader’. Farraday developed the DEX identity, launch campaign, sign-up site and a lively animation in German and English. Challenges are updated each month to sustain interest and scores are captured in real time online by the DEX leaderboard which is published via the campaign website.
